These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the DogGenius mobile application, the website doggenius.app, and related services.

DogGenius is operated by Elouan Capelle EI, a French individual business operating under the commercial name Seros, registered under SIREN 105975239 and SIRET 10597523900010, located at 61 Rue de Lyon, 75012 Paris, France.

By using DogGenius, you agree to these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree, you must not use DogGenius.

  1. The DogGenius service

DogGenius is a mobile application designed to help dog owners explore their dog’s cognitive abilities through simple games, tests, scores, profiles and progress tracking.

DogGenius may include:

  • onboarding questions;

  • dog profile creation;

  • cognitive games and tests;

  • memory, logic and communication exercises;

  • results and scores;

  • progress tracking;

  • premium features;

  • push notifications;

  • educational and entertainment content.

DogGenius is not veterinary advice, medical advice, behavioral diagnosis or a scientific certification of your dog’s intelligence.

The results are designed for informational, educational and entertainment purposes only.

  1. Account creation

To use certain features, you may need to create an account or use an anonymous account.

You are responsible for:

  • providing accurate information;

  • keeping your account secure;

  • using your own Apple, Google or email account;

  • not sharing access with unauthorized people;

  • contacting us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Anonymous accounts may have limited recovery options. If you use an anonymous account and delete the app, change device or lose access, you may lose access to your saved data unless your account is linked to Apple, Google or email.

  1. Dog profile and user content

You may provide information about your dog, such as name, breed, age, sex, profile picture, answers and test results.

You are responsible for the content you submit.

You must not upload or submit:

  • illegal content;

  • abusive, hateful or discriminatory content;

  • content violating someone else’s rights;

  • photos containing identifiable people without permission;

  • sensitive documents or personal information unrelated to the service;

  • misleading or fraudulent information.

By uploading content, you grant DogGenius a limited right to use it only for operating, displaying, improving and securing the service.

You keep ownership of your content.

  1. Free and premium features

DogGenius may offer both free and paid features.

Free features may include limited access to tests, content, results or daily games.

Premium features, available through DogGenius Elite, may include extended tests, detailed results, cognitive profiles, progress tracking, exclusive games or other advanced features.

The exact features included may evolve over time.

  1. Subscriptions and payments

DogGenius may offer auto-renewable subscriptions, including monthly and yearly subscriptions.

Subscriptions are purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on your device.

Prices may vary depending on your country, currency, taxes, store rules, promotions and subscription plan.

Before purchase, the applicable price, billing period and subscription conditions are shown by Apple App Store or Google Play.

By confirming a purchase, you authorize Apple or Google to charge your selected payment method.

DogGenius does not directly process or store your payment card details.

  1. Auto-renewal

DogGenius subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the current billing period.

If you do not cancel in time, your subscription may renew and your payment method may be charged by Apple or Google.

Deleting the DogGenius app does not cancel your subscription.

Deleting your DogGenius account does not automatically cancel your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription.

  1. Canceling a subscription

You must cancel your subscription through the store where you purchased it.

For iOS users:
Manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.

For Android users:
Manage and cancel your subscription through Google Play subscriptions.

After cancellation, you may keep access to premium features until the end of the paid billing period, unless Apple or Google states otherwise.

  1. Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on where you purchased the subscription.

DogGenius cannot guarantee, approve or directly process refunds for purchases handled by Apple or Google.

Refund requests are subject to Apple’s or Google’s refund policies and applicable law.

  1. Restoring purchases

If you purchased DogGenius Elite and lose access, you may use the restore purchase feature in the app.

Restoring purchases may require you to use the same Apple ID, Google account or store account used for the original purchase.

  1. Subscription access and changes

We may modify, improve, replace or remove features over time.

We will not intentionally remove the core value of an active paid subscription without a valid reason.

However, some features may change due to technical, legal, store-related or business reasons.

If required by law or store policy, we will provide appropriate notice.

  1. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use DogGenius for illegal purposes;

  • attempt to hack, disrupt or damage the service;

  • reverse engineer the app, except where legally permitted;

  • abuse, overload or interfere with our systems;

  • bypass paywalls or subscription checks;

  • create fraudulent accounts;

  • use automated tools to scrape or copy the service;

  • upload harmful, illegal or infringing content;

  • violate the rights of DogGenius, Seros or third parties.

  1. Intellectual property

DogGenius, including its name, logo, design, text, tests, scoring system, interface, visuals, code, content and brand assets, is owned by Elouan Capelle EI, operating under the commercial name Seros, or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, resell or exploit any part of DogGenius without prior written permission.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use DogGenius for personal use.

  1. No veterinary or professional advice

DogGenius does not replace a veterinarian, certified trainer, animal behaviorist or other qualified professional.

DogGenius results should not be used to diagnose health, behavioral or developmental issues.

If you have concerns about your dog’s health or behavior, contact a qualified professional.

  1. Accuracy of results

DogGenius aims to provide useful and engaging cognitive insights.

However, dog behavior can be influenced by many factors, including environment, motivation, stress, training history, age, breed, fatigue, health and the way a test is performed.

We do not guarantee that any result, score, ranking or profile is perfectly accurate or scientifically definitive.

  1. Availability

We aim to keep DogGenius available and functional.

However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, store issues, network problems, Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple, Google or other third-party service interruptions.

  1. Third-party services

DogGenius may rely on third-party services, including Apple, Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, Framer, IONOS and analytics or infrastructure providers.

We are not responsible for interruptions, errors, billing issues or policy decisions caused by third-party platforms outside our control.

  1. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to DogGenius if:

  • you violate these Terms;

  • you misuse the service;

  • your use creates legal, security or technical risks;

  • we are required to do so by law or platform rules.

You may stop using DogGenius at any time.

If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it through Apple App Store or Google Play.

  1. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DogGenius is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, device issues, or inability to use the service.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

  1. Privacy

Your use of DogGenius is also governed by our Privacy Policy:

  1. Account deletion

You can request account deletion through:

You can also delete your account inside the app:
Settings > My Account > Delete account

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription managed by Apple App Store or Google Play.

  1. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The latest version will always be available at:

If we make significant changes, we may notify users through the app, website or email where appropriate.

Continuing to use DogGenius after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

  1. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply in your country of residence.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may benefit from mandatory protections under your local law.

  1. Consumer mediation

In accordance with Articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, consumers may use a consumer mediator free of charge in the event of an unresolved dispute with Seros, after first submitting a written complaint to Seros.
